Production Manager (Stitching and Packing)

Job Responsibilities: Textile - Manufacturing - Karachi
- Monitor execution of Orders according to the stitching plan as provided by the planning department.
- Ensure that the orders are processed in line with the shipment dates if all accessories and fabric available as per program.
- Ensure a proper flow in fabric Receiving, Slitting, Ribboning and Cutting operations for attaining optimum efficiency for meeting production time lines.
- Monitor fabric receiving area activity and related matters.
- Try to segregate products in their respective categories i.e. A, B, C & cut pieces so that the products of the respective categories can be handled as per policy guide lines and procedures for further action.
- Review on daily basis and take necessary action wherever required, on various reports such as; Dispatch in report, Dispatch out report, Departments available for stitching stuff report, Attendance report and Over Time report. Also take care of the HSE related reports and take necessary actions.
- Monitor the performance of subordinates to improve their productivity, efficiency and compliance with quality standards. Also, arrange and organize training of new workers with respect to their assigned tasks for acquiring better efficiency.
- Handle man management related tasks such as grievance handling, performance management, setting departmental & team members’ objectives, initiate manpower requirements, conduct interviews, etc. in coordination with HR department.
Education: Masters (Preferably MBA SCM)/B.E/B.S Textile
